Knicks Battle Bobcats

January 8th, 2010 | by krhoops |

Don’t look now but the Knicks are now solidly in the playoff race only one half game out of the eighth and final spot in their conference.

After a 1-9 start, last nights 97-93 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats marked the seventh time they have overcome a double-digit victory to merge triumphant.

They only accomplished that feat six times all last season.

Wilson Chandler continues to be a surging force for this team last night tallying a game-high 27 points.

Danilo Gallinari had three fourth quarter three pointers. This guy has incredible range and is fearless when it comes to taking and making a big shot.

Al Harrington was  a late scratch for this contest with a calf strain ,hopefully he will get back in action soon.
